Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Purio collects through this website, how that information is used, who it may be shared with, and the choices available to you.

Scope of this policy

Purio provides operations software for water treatment and bottled water dealerships. This policy applies to this marketing website and to the forms, emails, and text messages that begin here.

Purio is a business to business company. This site is intended for dealership owners, managers, and staff acting on behalf of a business. It is not directed to children and Purio does not knowingly collect information from anyone under sixteen.

Information we collect

We collect information you give us directly and a limited amount of technical information generated when you browse the site.

  • Demo request form submissions. When you request a demo we collect your name, business email address, phone number, dealership name, the approximate size of your operation if you provide it, your message, and the consent selections you make on the form.
  • Other direct contact. If you email or call us, we keep the contents of that correspondence and the contact details you used.
  • Technical and usage information. Our hosting provider and any analytics we run may record your IP address, browser type and version, device type, referring page, the pages you view, and the time of your visit.
  • Cookies and similar technology. Small files stored by your browser that keep your consent preference and, if you accept, support analytics.

We do not ask for and do not want payment card numbers, government identifiers, or health information through this website.

How we use information

  • To respond to a demo request, schedule a demonstration, and answer questions about Purio.
  • To send the communications you asked for, including email replies and, where you consented, text messages.
  • To operate, secure, and improve this website, including diagnosing errors and understanding which pages are useful.
  • To keep records of consent, such as when and how you agreed to receive text messages.
  • To meet legal, tax, and record keeping obligations, and to enforce our terms.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

How information is stored and retained

Information submitted through this site is stored with our hosting and email providers and is accessible only to Purio personnel who need it to respond to you. We use industry standard safeguards including encrypted transport, access controls, and limited administrative access.

We keep demo request records and related correspondence for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and to maintain a reasonable business record, and then delete or anonymize them. Consent records for text messaging are retained for as long as required to demonstrate compliance. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Cookies and similar tracking technologies

When you first visit this site you are asked whether to accept or decline cookies used for analytics. Your choice is stored in your browser. If you decline, no analytics or advertising scripts are loaded. Cookies strictly necessary to serve the site and to remember your consent choice are always used.

You can clear or block cookies at any time in your browser settings, usually under privacy or site data. Clearing site data for this site will remove your stored choice and you will be asked again on your next visit. If your browser or extension sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat that as a decline and load no analytics.

You can update your preference at any time using the Cookie Preferences link in the footer of every page.

Third parties that may receive information

We use a small number of service providers to run this site. They may process information on our behalf and are permitted to use it only to provide their service to us.

  • Hosting and content delivery providers that serve this website and record standard server logs.
  • Analytics providers that measure site traffic, used only after you accept cookies.
  • Email delivery providers that transmit form notifications and our replies to you.
  • Text message aggregators and messaging platform providers that deliver the SMS messages you consented to receive.
  • Professional advisors and, where required, law enforcement or regulators when we are legally obligated to disclose information.

If Purio is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

SMS and Text Message Communications

We collect phone numbers and SMS consent status when you submit a form on our site. We use this information only to send the messages you consented to receive.

  • Mobile opt-in data and phone numbers will not be sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
  • No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
  • Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except for aggregators and providers of the text message services.
  • Information may be shared with subcontractors and service providers who support our business operations, such as customer service or communication platforms.
  • All other use cases exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message we send. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Full details are in our SMS Terms of Service.

Accessing, correcting, or deleting your information

You may ask us to confirm what information we hold about you, correct information that is inaccurate, or delete information we no longer need. Email [email protected] and describe your request. We may need to verify your identity, usually by confirming details you already provided to us.

You may also unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any marketing message, and you may stop text messages by replying STOP. We may keep a minimal record of your request so we can honor it.

Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act gives you the following rights.

  • The right to know what personal information we collect, the sources it comes from, why we collect it, and who we disclose it to.
  • The right to delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
  • The right to correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
  • The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
  • The right to non-discrimination, meaning we will not deny service, charge a different price, or provide a different level of quality because you exercised a privacy right.

Purio does not sell personal information for money. If you accept optional cookies, analytics or advertising tools may collect browsing data from this site, which California law may treat as "sharing." You can opt out at any time by choosing Decline under Cookie Preferences in the footer of any page. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a valid opt-out of sale and sharing.

To exercise any of these rights, including the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, please submit a request by emailing [email protected] with the subject line California Privacy Request.

We will confirm receipt of your request and respond within 45 days as required by California law. If we need more time, we will tell you and may extend the response period by an additional 45 days. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written permission from you.

This website compared to the Purio application

This policy covers the marketing website at this domain. It does not govern the Purio application that dealerships sign in to.

Data that dealerships and their customers put into the Purio application, including customer records, properties, routes, work orders, equipment, invoices, and messages, is governed by the subscriber agreement between Purio and the dealership. In that context the dealership controls the data and Purio processes it on the dealership's instructions. If you are a customer of a dealership and want to know how your information is handled inside the application, contact that dealership directly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The updated policy takes effect when posted on this page. If we make a material change to how we use information you already gave us, we will take reasonable steps to notify you.

Contact us about privacy

Questions about this policy or about how your information is handled can be sent to [email protected]. Please include enough detail for us to understand and respond to your request.

See Purio running your dealership's day.
